Background

Operating under the “The Roof”, the source of our logo, and the company, J Phillips, Inc. founded in 2004, Mr. Joel Phillips built the Lighthouse family of real estate services from the ground up specializing in all aspects of distressed property sales, distressed property management and brokerage operations.

More importantly, Lighthouse Short Sale, is the arm that offers families in trouble a way out. With our network of agents and investors we can often match sellers and investors together allowing a family to remain 'in place' and transition with minimal impact from a homeownership in distress position into becoming a productive tenant. This also allows servicers the ability to dispose of assets before they become expensive REO inventory.

Understanding the nature of the rapidly changing real estate industry, Lighthouse Short Sale is a proud supporter of innovative initiatives such as HomeRescue™ to serve the critical foreclosure prevention and distress sale needs of the public in today’s volatile economic climate.
